We are

Your role

As a Senior Software Developer you will be on the .NET team, working primarily with Kentico and Umbraco, although other bespoke systems are also in use. You will be responsible for the development of internal and external customer-driven applications, including CMS configuration and development of business logic handling, back-end database integration and a wide variety of API integrations.

Day to day you will:

  • Analyse customer requirements (including direct contact meetings) and assisting with project budgeting and scheduling
  • Liaise with teams/individuals to develop and refine high-level design concepts
  • Configuration of Kentico CMS/Xperience and development of MVC and Portal Engine websites
  • Implementation of application logic and back-end database structures
  • Providing and consuming webservices and other software integration logic
  • Work with presentation layer – e.g. HTML/CSS/JS front-end
  • Support of existing websites and CMS platforms based on .NET Core and .NET WebForms
  • Mentor junior members of the team and help drive innovation, efficiency and standards
  • Work with the commercial team on winning new work, including helping with estimates, proposals and client-facing presentations and Q&A sessions 
  • Research new technologies and methodologies 

What we’re looking for from you

Experience:

  • Relevant qualification
  • Knowledge of web-based application programming and database design/integration with particular knowledge of C#, MVC, SQL, HTML, JavaScript and CSS
  • Experienced in producing standards-compliant, performant and accessible websites
  • Understanding CMS platforms, specifically, experience of Kentico CMS would be advantageous

Other:

  • Able to work with administration and customer support to identify issues and formulate solutions to automated processes
  • Able to work effectively and efficiently in an agency environment, including working to a deadline and across multiple projects simultaneously

Your role

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Account Director to join our vibrant team in Belfast. The ideal candidate will possess a strategic mindset, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven track record of managing high-profile accounts. As an Account Director at Zesty, you will be the primary point of contact for our clients, ensuring their needs are met and their expectations exceeded

Day to day you will:

  • Support the Head of Commercial in the delivery of client and project strategy, including maintaining exceptional standards of quality in project delivery, overseeing key client proposals, managing margins on projects, and working with heads of departments to set schedules and delivery timeframes
  • Support the Head of Commercial in the leadership and management of the Client Services team, including mentoring and developing team members to meet customer needs and supporting the management of the PDR process
  • Contribute to and create documents, proposals, and presentations for prospective clients
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as the main point of contact for appointed clients
  • Manage the delivery and profitability of projects across the team’s accounts
  • Work with the full project team to ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget

  • Brief and liaise with the design, web development, and performance marketing teams
  • Manage clients and internal stakeholders, ensuring they are kept fully informed

Your role

As a Front-end Developer, you'll be responsible for creating visually appealing, responsive, and accessible user interfaces that set the standard for usability and performance. This role leans heavily into design and UI/UX, requiring a keen eye for detail.

The role is very much "Front of Front-end", so creating the parts of websites and applications that users interact with directly. 

You will focus on building the user interface (UI) to make it visually appealing, intuitive to use, and accessible to everyone. This involves writing code using languages like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to bring designs to life. 

Day to day you will:

  • Analyse customer requirements (including direct contact meetings) and assist with project budgeting and scheduling
  • Liaise with teams/individuals (e.g., designers, account manager, 3rd party providers) to develop and refine high-level design concepts
  • Develop website front-end presentation layer (i.e., HTML/CSS/JavaScript)
  • Maintain and evaluate changes to existing websites (both in-house and 3rd party developments)
  • Adhere to in-house standards on development practices e.g., source control, coding style guides, processes, as well as formal standards such as WCAG accessibility and W3C best practices for HTML/CSS
  • Perform other duties as directed

What we’re looking for from you:

You will be a seasoned Front-end Developer who is organised, a team player with demonstrable knowledge of web-based development and accessibility guidelines and practices.

  • HTML 
    • Comprehensive understanding of HTML semantics, accessibility best practices, and cross-browser compatibility.
  • CSS/SCSS 
    • Excellent CSS skills, including preprocessors like SCSS/Sass and responsive design principles.
  • JavaScript 
    • Comprehensive understanding of core JavaScript concepts such as DOM manipulation, event handling, and ES6+ features.
  • Web Accessibility
    • Understanding of WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines) 
    • Experience in implementing accessibility features such as proper semantic HTML, ARIA roles and attributes, and keyboard navigation.
    • Familiarity with accessibility testing tools like Axe, Lighthouse, or WAVE.
    • Knowledge of the importance of web usability, accessibility & standards
  • UI/UX Principles
    • Understanding of user interface and user experience principles, ability to translate wireframes and designs into responsive and user-friendly interfaces.
  • Cross-browser and Cross-device Compatibility
    • Knowledge of techniques to ensure consistent rendering across different browsers and devices.
  • Animation and Interaction
    • Proficient in CSS animations, transitions for creating interactive UI elements.
  • Web Performance
    • Proficient in performance techniques such as lazy loading, images optimisation, and resource minification.
  • Experience with GIT / Version control systems
  • Excellent communication and team-working skills
  • Excellent time management skills with ability to prioritise workload
  • Ability to work well on your own and within a team environment
  • Demonstrable experience of web-based development using HTML, JavaScript, CSS and associated tools and frameworks
  • Able to resolve issues effectively in a timely fashion
  • Able to utilise rapid development techniques in an agile environment

Your role

Reporting to the Head of Client Services, you will manage and deliver industry leading digital projects on time and within budget for a wide variety of Clients, requiring liaison with our inhouse resources and trusted partners to ensure project requirements are always met.

Day to day you will:

  • Analyse customer requirements (in person and online) and assist with project budgeting and scheduling
  • Manage the briefing, delivery, profitability and reporting of Client projects within Zesty
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget
  • Brief and liaise with UX, Design, Development and Hosting teams
  • Develop clear project documentation throughout the project lifecycle
  • Manage Clients and internal stakeholders, ensuring they are kept fully informed
  • Liaise with 3rd parties to agree deliverables and manage scope
  • Lead project review meetings
  • Adhere to internal accounting/reporting procedures for billing and time management

What we're looking for from you

Experience:

  • Relevant digital project management experience, ideally gained within a similar agency
  • Experience and knowledge of web technologies
  • Experience of developing effective working relationships internally and externally
  • Experience of Content Management Systems
  • Good applied knowledge of formal project management methodologies (e.g. Agile, PRINCE2)
  • A proactive spirit
  • High degree of commitment, initiative and perseverance
