You may be expected to work with databases using Raw MySQL, WordPress Query Builder and an ORM such as Doctrine or Illuminate this is true as much of WordPress as it is of Symfony development.

Day to day you will:

The day to day work consists of delivery of projects for our clients, both internal and external across a range of sectors, including but not limited to: tourism, entertainment, publishing, sport and eCommerce.

Developers are required to take the outputs from the front-end and design teams and to `wire-them-up` to a CMS or Backend system to provide the dynamic functionality required, always working closely with other members of the delivery team.

Typically these are brochureware websites built in WordPress or more complex web applications built in Symfony. Developers are assigned to work in project delivery teams for the duration of a project and you would see a project through from start to finish. In addition to yourself, that fully in-house team is made up of Graphic/UX Designer(s), Front End Developer(s), Account and Project managers

In addition to the above delivery team, we work closely with our colleagues in Tibus to deliver solutions with bespoke hosting or infrastructure needs, offering the ability to deliver all-encompassing solutions across the full tech-stack.

What we’re looking for from you: You’re an experienced developer with a passion for internet and related technologies, and the benefits that it brings to the business. Agency experience would be desirable however not essential.

You should have a qualification in a relevant discipline and have proven experience of web-based application programming and database design/integration with particular knowledge of WordPress, Symfony or Laravel, Linux, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, SQL, Git.
