Timelapse Croatia

This is, quite simply, 4 minutes and 42 seconds of visual and audio beauty. The stunning video –  by Mario Romulic and Drazen Stojcic (edited by Antun Balog) is made up of 150,000 photos which have been painstakingly edited together over one year. There is no actual ‘live’ footage, just endless stills, chosen from over 700,000 pictures they originally took. The end result is one of the most visually impressive videos I’ve ever seen, with a crisp yet chilling soundtrack to top it off nicely.

Demonstrating that you need extreme patience and dedication to create something of quality like this, Stojcic and Romulic spent months on the project, saying: “Almost a full year of work went into this. Months and months of work and hundreds of thousands photographs for a few minutes of video. Sounds silly, but that’s basically how it is. For example, we spent the last 3 months literally sitting at our workstations editing and rendering frame after frame, shot after shot, location after location.”

The video was a personal project for the Romulic studio, financed in-house to showcase their amazing talent.
