Adjusting The Frequency
If you start following a lot of people you may find that your API count starts to run out and that you can’t do anything with Twitter for large periods of time through Tweetdeck so we show you a couple of ways of tinkering with your API settings to make sure you get the most out of Tweetdeck.
Making Tweetdeck Look Beautiful
This may seem trivial but you can change the look and feel of Tweetdeck and if it is something that you are going to be using for large periods of time you may want to consider having a little tinker around with some of the colours.
Seeing Where Your Clicks Come From
If you are using twitter to build traffic and are interested in seeing where your links go to and who clicks on them you will want to make sure that you are set up with a bit.ly account and that it is linked to your tweetdeck as we show you in the video.

This was an excellent guide – well done Niall. I particularly liked the fact it was 10 separate videos of 1 minute or so. If it had been one long 12 minute video I probably wouldn’t have watched it but in such bite-sized chunks (no pun intended!) I actually ended up watching all 10 back-to-back! Pretty clever stuff! Tweetdeck does have some great features that you can’t get elsewhere, but it’s missing one very important accessibility feature: you can’t make the font any larger. Or have they finally added this?

Great videos and great information! I’m a huge Tweetdeck fan and use it every day. Did not know about filtering out keywords and will definitely use it as a lot of my friends attend the same conferences at the same time, thus filling my stream with the same tweets. Hey I just wanted to let you know, I actually like the piece of writing on your web site. But I am using Flock on a machine running version 8.x of Crashbang Ubuntu and the UI aren’t quite proper. Not a strong deal, I can still fundamentally read the articles and search for info, but just wanted to inform you about that. The navigation bar is kind of tough to use with the config I’m running.
