Measurement Camp Dublin – The Return

Well, it’s been a quiet couple of months on the Measurement Camp front, but I’m happy to announce that it’s back!
The (third!) Measurement Camp Dublin session will be held on 28th October, in the Odeon Bar & Grill. Tickets for the event are free and you can register on our Event Elephant site.
For those of you that don’t know, here’s a bit of info on Measurement Camp.
Firstly, it isn’t a Simply Zesty thing. I’m blogging about it here to announce the event, but it’s by no means just me that’s involved. Damien Mulley and Brian Melarkey have been instrumental in bringing Measurement Camp to Dublin. The first Dublin camp which the 3 of us organised had more attendees than any of the London sessions! I’ll be building a Facebook page for Measurement Camp Dublin this week, so we have somewhere to chat and get info before, after (and during?) the event.
The aim of Measurement Camp is for us all to get our heads together and talk about the issues and solutions around measuring the effect and benefit of social media for businesses. It’s by no means an easy task, which is why a collaborative effort such as Measurement Camp is the way forward. By bringing our collective experiences we can work through problems, learn from mistakes and work together to find solutions to this fairly sticky problem.
It’s not a conference. The sessions are open, include group activity and discussions, as well as a few presentations. But no sales pitches. At this Measuremet Camp we want to work through some new ideas and develop a collaborative project that will help everyone who wants to learn more about measuring social media.
If you are interested in presenting at Measurement Camp, you can send me an email at lauren@simplyzesty.com
We’ve said it before, but we’ll say it again – there are no wrong answers. Please don’t be put off coming along because you haven’t a clue about this measuring social media malarkey. Very few of us have, which is kind of the point really. Also, if you want to tweet about the event, the hashtag is #mmcdublin
So, what are you waiting for! Get yer name down and I’ll see you all on the 28th!
