When you go to conferences I often find that the best discussions arise during the panel discussions as all sorts of questions get asked and the speakers get involved in discussions between themselves and challenge each others ideas. This was certainly true at our winter camp last week when Pat Phelan (Maxroam), John Kennedy (Editor Silicon Republic and technology editor Irish Independent), Gail Power (Facebook) and Don O’Leary(Google) sat down to talk about the future of social media and field questions from the audience. Some really good ideas were put forward and some good discussion had by all with some great insights into where all the technology is heading…

Really lovin’ the video’s guys.
Wow! Those are some heavy hitters (and interesting folks, to boot). I am going to have to sit down with this one tonight and give it proper attention. I am loving what I have seen so far of Simply Zesty’s work. The fact that I have even found your site is evidence of the effectiveness of conversation marketing. Because of a comment you left on my blog, I discovered yours. That’s a beautiful thing. You now have an additional subscriber and interested follower. Do stop by again.
Yeah Ian I saw a comment of yours earlier and tracked it back to you blog so I guess it shows that comments are an effective way of finding people who write in your niche and connecting with like minded people. Cheers for the kind words about the blog
The video is well worth a watch too as it gives some great insights into the minds of people who are at the head of social media
