YouTube Clean Up Their Design
We all know that YouTube is a huge site and a daily stop on many people’s web travels and the good news is that today YouTube are unveiling a complete redesign of the site. The focus is now on cleaning up the navigation of the site and allowing users to find great content and manage the videos that they already subscribe to. YouTube recently became the biggest site in the world traffic wise and the amount of searches for videos on the site actually make it the second biggest search engine in the world behind it’s big Daddy Google. All in all the tools now at your disposal will make it easier to monitor and track videos you distribute through YouTube for your brand or business. As with any re-design the focus here is on growing revenues and the ads and featured paid content have taken a front row seat in the design which will be an interesting way for brands to have their videos viewed by a very targeted audience based on the preference of users.
All in all it seems that YouTube is starting to grow up and become somewhere where brands will want to spend a lot more time and money and it has come a long way from it’s cats falling off roof days and poor video quality.
