The Evolution Of Music And Social Media – Video

Every once in a while when we get a bit of spare time we like to do a special project that highlights some of the work we can do which is what this video about the evolution of music is. Rebecca O’Brien who has been interning with us for the last couple of months directed this video and made it look so slick. Her only brief was to cover something she loved (music), link it in with social media and aim for a million views. As you’ll see the video covers some of biggest events over the last few decades including CDs, Vinyl and some of the newer digital distribution channels. There is also a look at how social is changing music and how new platforms like Turntable and even the new Facebook music offering are changing the way in which millions of people share music in a new digital age.
