I’ll admit up front, I didn’t watch the video. Nevertheless, my experience is that most people speak English around the world, as French was and similarly Latin was once upon a time, it’s the current universal language. Most non-English speakers learn English as one of two required languages. (Here in the States, high-schoolers and college students only are required to learn one foreign language, unfortunately most don’t have an opportunity to exercise it in real life.) Fortunately there are on-line tools to help us these days. For example, there was what I believe was a discussion earlier this evening on the Food Mob FB page exclusively in Croatian. The Google Translate application helped me to understand what they were saying and even to construct a reply.

I just don’t believe that language translation is a huge obstacle in today’s Internet. Character sets may be a different issue, but UDF-8 compliance is even overcoming that.
