Social Media Stats UK 2010 Video

A couple of weeks ago we announced that we would be opening a UK office and with staff on the ground and our first client work being done we thought it would be a good idea to compile a video with all the latest numbers in the UK. Our friends in TORA helped us with the research on this piece and the very talented James Doherty animated it for us. The video is a really great snapshot of just how important social media is becoming in the market place and how brands and businesses are starting to embrace it for real commercial gains. It was fun to make and will hopefully introduce us to the UK market and open a couple of doors for us. Let us know what you think…

– Has this research been published? I had a look at Tora’s site, but can’t find it there…
Great video, but what’s the source of the stats you quote (or sources)?

No doubt social media has improved the way we communicate with our target audience, but we cant associate any commercial gains directly to their use.Unless we organize any contest on these social platforms and ask the users to bring in some kind of coupons published on those platforms to get a gift or something for free.If someone brings that coupon,to get the gift, than we can surely count that the networking happened due to social media.
UK office? When? Where?
Awesome!
This video was great. The stats are also interesting. Thanks for sharing them.
We announced it a couple of weeks ago – near Bond St. We think it’s awesome too!
