Well it certainly gives you a very good idea of who is following your profile more than others and more importantly gives that info to others too

How about the new “Who is following you”-app? Does that not count page views either?

I tried this several times but it won’t work. I’ve even tried the link on this page. It’s giving me a “The page you requested is not found” error code.

There is no way to track who has viewed your profile. Now Facebook did not allow to developing This kind of API’s. You have one option. Make a new wall post “I’m going to delete my profile”.

If you click on their friends or look at “view all 5 comments” will it then track you. I know it doesn’t count if you just view their profile but what if you do any of the above.

Ok, so knowing you can set almost everything on your profile to private, why are people so concerned about tracking people knowing that people you don’t know can’t really see anything. The only people that can see anything are your “friends”, and isn’t that the point of your profile on Facebook?? Quit accepting people you don’t/or barely know as friends,then you don’t need to worry about who’s viewing your stuff!!!

This app ask for to much information why you have to answer question to use it. Think It Request for Permission for your info when installing on facebook and then ask for it after you add the app. Anyone one received any extra spam after installing it.

Umm.. Does Anybody Wonder Why Facebook Is Against This App? I Sure As Hell Do. Its My Personal Page. If Im Being Stalked.. Wouldnt I Want To Know So? This Goes For Others As Well. It doesn’t show stalkers, it just is gonna show who shares their stupid gifts from farmville on your wall the most, or who pokes you the most, which they do to everyone and not just you. Who’s stupid idea was this? How hard is it to make a stalker app that tracks page views? Sheesh. Idiots!!

This is the stupidest thing I have ever heard. The only reason people downloaded it was because they thought it counted page views. Congratulations, you counted how many times certain people have posted on my wall, you probably already know before you use this worthless shit.

I dont care about stalkers, but, as a marketer, i DO care about who is looking at what content and WHO is actually following the content i am posted on my profile pages.

Seems kind of pointless….if it doesn’t count profile/pic views or PM’s; only interactions/comments/etc, then it isn’t really an accurate portrayal of “stalkers”. Case in point: I rarely look at my friends profiles, and just check the newsfeed once or twice a day. If i see something worth “liking” or commenting on, I do so. Facebook already sends an alert of this kind of interaction, so anyone with half a brain would notice if one or more specific people seem to be interacting with them. Lemme guess…the App is just a front for more targeted marketing.

I have heard for a few years that potential employers may look at the applicants facebook page. There is no way of knowing who looked at your facebook page especially if they are not “friended” by you. That is a privacy issue and I am sure Facebook would not allow such an application. If that was the case, you would be able to access this “stalker view” right on your own facebook page which apparently is none. If your on facebook, the whole intention of it is to interact with other people. It’s only natural for someone to “look” at someones profile and not want to get “busted” for looking ESPECIALLY POTENTIAL EMPLOYERS or harmless people just glancing and moving on (it’s called curiosity or just plain nosey).
