Brizzly Is Everything Twitter Needs And More
Have just been playing with Brizzly for the last 30 minutes and I had one of those moments where you just become attached to a product or service and attach yourself to it instantly. I literally have shut down Tweetdeck (which I use to monitor a bunch of stuff) and the Twitter web page (which I use on occasion) and have started to use Brizzly exclusively and will be doing so for the next couple of days. It does everything that I love about the Facebook feed (rich media content like photos and videos within the feed) and has a simple clean interface that is incredibly easy to learn.
Brizzly has been developed by Thing Labs which was set up by a couple of ex-Googlers who has experience of working on Google Reader and although it is still in closed Beta and early days it is clear that this will become a big player in the Twitter client market. The real beauty is that it runs super fast and uses little processing power when compared to something like Tweetdeck which has a tendency to crawl along at times.
The only problem that I can see is that it is nearly too good. I have stopped on 3 different occasions to watch videos in the last 30 minutes that I would normally skip but sat through as they are only a single click away. Add in great threaded DM’s and easy to follow Twitter trends and I think Brizzly are on to a real winner with this service.
If you need a Brizzly Invite we have 10 so leave your name (and correct email) in the comments here and we will include the first 10 of you ASAP.
