I still doubt whether there will ever be a real competitor to Google. I think it's just too ingrained in our online behaviour. I'm sure there will be improvements on customising search results, but maybe the key to successful search is simplicity. I think this is ultimately how Google won out to Yahoo. Hi Daniel,

I was very much of the view that if say Mircosoft had that as it's display for search on the desktop and if it were available as an option for Google, it would mark a major improvement on what we've got now.
