Last thing I needed. Busy turning down the noise, unfollowing on twitter, removing "Friends" on facebook, deleting foursquare and linkedIN and the next thing i wake up this morning to find google had me opted in to this shite. I've deleted all but one google account now, and tried my best to turn off as much of the new shite as possible. i'm all for new things and all that - but please don't opt me in without asking, and please _try_ to be something new? Yuck.

Email is the power and production tool for the masses, if you reinvent it in too much of a blase and stark manner it's like attempting to replace the microwave with a cool new device that walks your dog aswell as cooks ready meals.

Yeah Daniel there is some room for improvement I guess but it doesn't mean that they need to go re-inventing the wheel is the thing. I think that is the main reason why Wave didn't work was because it was suc a drastic change that people were just not ready for!

"I am very happy with email and most of the world has been for about 15 years now."
 That's doesn't fit for me

I'm not sure if Google wave can hold what it pretends, but I wish myself a hybrid between Massenger(skype), Email, and shared documents.
I hate reading 20 Emails of one project, in the search for just 1 or 2 informations.

Not every product of google is good, but some are!

Niall, I so hear you about the noise. It's gotten so bad for me that I've started to seriously readjust how and what I use in terms of the social tools. As for email, call me old-fashioned, but it's my workhorse tool.
