Facebook App Creates Global Map Showing Your Connections
Facebook is the network of all your friends all over the world and a new app lets you find those friends in a very visual way. All you have to do is head over to the app and give it permission and within a couple of seconds it will create an interactive map of the world showing your connections. This is a simplified version of the Linkedin maps tool I shared a few weeks ago but it does give you a good overview of where most of your friends live. Having travelled a good bit the map reminds me of all the places I have been to and hovering over the dots brings up profile pictures for those people and I actually saw a couple of people I had forgotten about and should get in contact with.
