		<description><![CDATA[These big brands are not relying on their social media branding obviously (agreed with liliana) but social media these days is playing the most important part in allowing them to keep their customers engaged with their brand and create a hype for new products.

But this list will surely provide a good source of inspiration for small businesses (like myself, http://www.facebook.com/echofreelanceweb ) to build effective FB pages to spread brand awareness without spending much. So thanks for sharing!]]></description>

		<description><![CDATA[thanks but i must say im not really impressed with this top or comments as to why these pages are successful. about 90% of the brands mentioned here are just widely known and were successful before, when using traditional media only. i might be wrong, but seems to me their success on social media is really a natural conversion/ continuation of their generic success. if a company like Nike was known for amazing imagery before, it is only natural they make good usage of it on such a medium.. but i must be wrong, as for me the success of a page is not measured in the absolute fan number, but in fan engagement and ultimately, the conversion towards loyal, buying customers.]]></description>
