I have a blog I started as a personal diary because my handwriting is so terrible (I blame the news business I used to be in, taking notes in a hurry on the run!). Then a couple of people I had asked for help on setting it up asked me to keep writing. Then it grew, organically, into an old-style southern (U.S.) remembry and I developed a very small but dedicated group of followers/readers. My husband keeps saying I should "monetize." This is the last thing I should/want to do to this sweet little blog. It would be like, I don't know, sticking a hat pin into a helium balloon. If that makes sense. Thank you, I plan to show him your post. I’m happy to see this.
