Seeking New Writer For The Blog
Are you slightly geeky? Do you keep up with all the latest trends and live and breath social media? We are looking for somebody that considers themselves to be 100% geek (like ourselves) and has writing skills and wants to share all their thoughts with the world here on the blog.
It would be a weekly column and the really good news is that we would be paying you for your knowledge and time (industry rates). We won’t necessarily be looking for established journalists so you may have fancied yourself as a writer but never taken the plunge before or you could have your own established blog already and just want to earn a few quid on the side.
We are ideally looking for somebody based outside of Ireland (think London, Paris etc) or at least somebody who spends a lot of time traveling to cities like that. The reason for this is that we think 2 of us based here in Ireland really is more than enough and we would love to get as much news from around the world covering different perspectives as possible.
The plan here on the blog has always been to broaden the writing away from just myself and Lauren and build the blog into something much bigger and more interesting than just a regular business blog. We see a huge opportunity here in Europe to build a great social media blog that covers a mixture of all the latest news, new companies, interviews and insight and coverage of new services that we all use daily. The majority of the stuff we all read daily comes from the USA and although not a bad thing there is certainly scope for increasing coverage from this side of the pond.
