Well it’s been a crazy few weeks at Simply Zesty headquarters again – we’re getting busier and the time on the pingpong table is getting lesser! Client Manager

We recognise that social media is a new industry and we want to recruit someone that has experience of various social media platforms and will already have vast experience in the PR or digital marketing space. Knowledge of how social media can be used as part of a marketing strategy and for businesses to reach out to their customers, is essential. You will also be able to demonstrate experience in managing people and delegating tasks. We are looking for someone with experience in a client-facing role, who is able to develop strategies and campaigns, identify and work towards KPIs and ensure excellent communication is always carried out with the client.

Key job description:

* Develop social media strategies that work to a client’s KPIs for a given project
* Responsibility for client reporting, ensuring this is delivered to the client effectively, to a high standard
* A keen awareness of developments in the client’s industry and their competitors
* Ability to highlight and explore new marketing avenues for clients. Social media is constantly changing and we need someone who is passionate and ahead of the game, identifying new platforms or functionality which can be explored as a way for our clients to reach out to and engage with their consumers.
* Ability to act and plan in a crisis-management situation. If this is encountered in social media, given the speed at which word can spread, you need to be able to act fast while remaining calm and ensuring our high communication standards are not lost
* Excellent verbal and written communication is key; you will also be presentable and confident in client-facing situations
* Working cross-agency, to ensure our social media strategies are in line with other areas of the client’s marketing plan, for example PR and PPC
* Support in new business leads – inputting into pitches and attending pitch meetings

Necessary Experience

* 3-4 years in PR, digital marketing, or similar, in a client facing role

Account Executive

We’re looking for someone who is already enthusiastic about digital marketing and social media and is keen to develop this into a career with a dedicated social media agency. A degree isn’t necessary for this role, but we do need to see that you can demonstrate experience and awareness of the digital marketing industry. Ideally you will be active across a range of social media channels yourself and have a passion for how businesses can use these channels to reach and engage with their consumers.

You will also have excellent literary skills and be able to demonstrate an element of copywriting you have taken out. As well as knowing social media, you will also have an awareness and understanding of other digital media marketing channels, for example PPC and SEO.

You will provide day to day support for the account manager, with the ability to support with reporting, researching the social media space for our clients and competitors and daily tasks for campaigns. You will be comfortable working across different platforms and using different media, including photo, video, blogs, podcasts and applications both for social networks and mobile platforms.

Salary : €20,000-25,000 depending on experience
