Mobile For Brands - Its 1999 All Over Again [Video + Presentation]

The Dublin Web Summit is on over the next couple of days and when they asked me to speak, I decided to focus on the topic of mobile rather than social media to show what is happening in the industry and share where I think it could be heading.

It's an exciting time in the industry as vast amounts of people move from desktop devices to tablets and smartphones. While it is producing huge opportunity and creating some exciting new companies, there are also huge, established businesses that are getting wiped off the map by not acting fast enough.

While there is no need to panic and drop all your other marketing or online activity, there is a huge gap between what the end consumers are looking for and what large brands and businesses are able to offer. 2013 is going to be a year where everybody needs to start spending big on their mobile strategy and investing in new solutions that gets on to the device that people carry with them absolutely everywhere. It's all about mobile.
