At Simply Zesty we're proud to release our latest project, which brings live commentary of the Barclays Premier League into Twitter, for the very first time. We've been working with talkSPORT Live (the international arm of talkSPORT UK) as they announced live coverage rights for the Premier League for all markets outside of Europe. It was a first for talkSPORT and now it's a first for Twitter as the talkSPORT player will be embedded directly within tweets.
Twitter have been moving more and more into the world of sport, demonstrated by their recent sports hubs for the Olympics and Euro 2012, so it seemed like a perfect fit to bring talkSPORT's expert live commentary to a Twitter audience. Because the player is embedded in tweets, it means the discussion around football can now happen in the platform that it's being consumed in. Twitter has proved itself as the place for debate around sport and we're proud to make talkSPORT a part of this.
The live commentary will be available from this Saturday, 20th October, kicking off with Tottenham v Chelsea at 12:45pm. This will be launching with commentary in English, Spanish and Mandarin via @talkSPORTLive (English) @talkSPORTLiveES (Spanish) and @talkSPORTLive8 (Mandarin).
talkSPORT will pick which games will be broadcast live, and you can access full commentary of all the Premier League games by registering for free at talkSPORT.com
