It's been well reported that Apple has been on a huge growth curve over the last couple of years to the point where the company has recently become the most valuable company in the world.
It's current market cap is hovering just under the $400 billion mark which is a remarkable amount of money, but it probably doesn't mean that much to you unless you have a look at the infographic below to see how it compares to other industries out there.
The one part that really blows my mind is the growth of Apple over the last seven years when compared to itself, and the tiny little square that depicts its size in 2004. This for me is the perfect infographic (spotted over on Visual.ly via TNW) because instead of being flashy and busy, it distills complicated information into a simple set of graphics that can be understood by anybody at a quick glance. All those iPads, iPhones and Macs really do add up to a lot of money.
