After revealing their redesigned digital wallet to consumers at the SXSW conference earlier this week, Paypal are expected to roll out the new feature sometime in late May. The new digital wallet will include a 5-7 day grace period so you can buy something in a store, take it home and later decide how exactly you want to pay for it. You can also create personal lists, spending rules and apply gift cards, digital coupons, deals and savings points to your purchase.
Before the product was demoed to the SXSW audience, the eBay ink blog got to see a demo of the product, with Paypal's VP of global product and experience Sam Shrauger guiding them through the process. Since eBay is apart of PayPal, its not really an interview and more a way of showing what exactly consumers can expect once the digital wallet is released.
